Students will learn to:

  • Use safe hygiene practices for preparation, display, handling, service, storage and disposal of food
  • Prevent contamination of food that might cause food-borne illness.

Under the Food Act 2006, all licensable food businesses in Queensland must have a Food Safety Supervisor.

This 6 hour course is perfect for students looking for a supervisor role in hospitality businesses such as cafes, restaurants, hotels, function venues and more.
