The Student Identifiers Act 2014 was passed and proclaimed on 27 June 2014. From 1 January 2015 students undertaking nationally recognised VET courses will need to have a USI to receive their statement of attainment or qualification. This USI will stay with the student for life and be recorded with any nationally recognised VET course that is undertaken.

II. Conflict Resolution Statement

VETiS Funding and Eligibility

The Department of Employment, Small Business and Training provides funding for secondary school students to complete one approved Vocational Education and Training in Schools (VETiS) qualification funded by the VET Investment Budget while at school. It is important for students and their parents to take the time to consider their training options and be fully aware of the VET investment budget by referring to the QLD Government VETiS School Fact Sheet
